Learn how to use Sketch, from beginner basics to advanced techniques, with this growing collection of online videos for casual users and professional designers alike.
With this new update, Framer brings motion to type. In this episode, we’ll learn how to take advantage of this cool new feature with a countdown animation that we’ll design, and later on code.
High fidelity prototyping has never been easier, and today is the day where we switch tabs, instead of design, we’ll do code to animate the interface we already started in Framer. With that said, we’ll dive into how to use targets, components such as flows or scrolls, and events to achieve beautiful prototypes.
Following our video about the new changes in Sketch 44, we're going to look at some new options to create interactive prototypes using the integration between Sketch and InVision (Craft). This will boost your workflow and allow you to present faster prototypes to your clients and get better feedback.
Adobe XD is not just the response from the guys at Adobe to Figma or Sketch, it’s much more, and however it’s just in beta for now, it’s up to a good start. In this first episode, we explore the basics of it, some of the tools inside, and my favorite personal one, repeat grid.
Components by Figma! Symbols, but with real property overriding. Reusability in your designs has never been easier with this tool that the guys over California have created. In this episode, we show you guys the basics of it going through the process of designing a small Christmas list app.
Parallax effects are hard, but if you don’t overdo it, they are also beautiful. In this episode, we show you guys how to do a parallax animation over simple rectangles and text, in the prototyping tool Principle. As always, let me know what you think @RamonGilabert.
The beauty of animations comes easy and handy in this prototyping tool done by one person. An ex Apple engineer that, inspired by the magic of keynote — has brought us an app that is simple yet powerful to use. In this episode we’ll jump into the basis — doing a simple animation to show just the tip of what can be accomplished with this tool.
The second video of Figma is here. Today we are going to go through the process of designing a quick on-boarding to check where constraints are and to get a bit more fluent in this new tool.
Figma is a tool with a mission, bring collaboration between designers and even clients. As easy as setting up and account, you'll be able to start designing with its intuitive UI and shortcuts you already know from other similar tools. In this episode that kicks off the series of Figma, we'll go through the basics of it.
Let’s learn how we can very quickly create a simple prototype (think Marvel or Invision) using the free app Xcode, and installing it on our devices.
Part two of this mini series, this time putting our knowledge into action by building a simple iOS prototype in Origami
Following up on the Prototyping with Framer mini-series, this time we take a look at Facebook's Origami and Quartz Composer
Let's take a look at how I use Sketch to build my wireframes, using a custom tweaked basic template.
This week special guest Ramon Gilabert walks us through some cool animations on Framer, and some more advanced tips.
Let's take a look at two real life examples of what we can do with Framer, importing assets from Sketch, as mirroring the project on an iOS device
